Robert A. (Bob) Carter
President
Mr. Carter worked with Siskin Steel and Supply Inc. as Sales Representative for 30 years. He accepted Christ
as a teenager and worked in church in many capacities since. Mr. Carter is an active member of Wildwood Baptist
Church in Kennesaw, Georgia, where he serves in First Touch Ministry, Sunday School class Mission Co-Leader and
the on the Missionary Committee. He co-Founded Living Hope Ministries International, Inc. with his wife Ethel.
He has been on several mission trips to Kenya.
Ethel Carter
S.A.C. Coordinator
Mrs. Carter has worked with Boot Village as Office Manager for the last fifteen years. She accepted Christ as
a young lady and has served as Sunday School Teacher. She is an active member of Wildwood Baptist Church in
Kennesaw, Georgia and serves in the prayer ministry as Prayer Chain Leader. She serves on the Missionary Committee.
She co-Founded Living Hope Ministries International, Inc. with husband Bob. She has been on several mission trips to Kenya.
Thomas W.(Billy) Ray
Chairman of Board
Mr. Ray has an extensive business background with IBM Corp. in Charlotte and Atlanta. He is presently Vice
President of Software Services at Encompass Solutions, Inc. He accepted Christ as a young boy. He is a member
of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church in Kennesaw, Georgia and been serving with Living Hope Ministries International
from it’s inception.
E. O (Buzzy) Breeding, Jr.
Mr Breeding has been a Project Superintendent in commercial construction for 35 years. He accepted Christ as
personal savior as a young man and is very active member of First Baptist Church, Kingsport, Tenn. He headed a
mission trip to Brazil in 2001 and went to Nicaragua in 2002 with his wife Martha and other church members.
Carroll Pitts, Jr
Mr. Pitts graduated from Southeastern University with a degree in history and administration in 1968 then in 1974
he graduated from the University of South Carolina with a master’s degree in Elementary Education. He served as a
teacher and administrator in the Richland II School District and Horry County School District in South Carolina
for 10 years. He recently retired from the Cobb County School District as Executive Director of Transportation after twenty-five years.
Mr. Pitts has served as President of several state and national organizations. He has led many short term mission
teams around the world teaching, training, and providing medical assistance in third world countries. He is currently
an Administrative Elder and Hope Minister at Mount Paran North Church of God. He also serves on the Board of
Directors for the Credit Union of Georgia and Living Hope International Ministries. Mr. Pitts is the facilitator for
Kenya Network, a group of churches and organizations engaged in mission outreach and partnerships in Kenya.
He is married to Becky and they have four children and five grandchildren.
Robert J. (Bob) Waldrop
Vice President
Mr Waldrop is currently Vice President and partner of Full Circle Solutions, Inc. working in the recycling of
industrial by-products. Bob accepted Christ as a young adult. Bob has served as a Bible study teacher, deacon and missions director.
Bob has also led numerous short term volunteers on trips to Malawi, Ghana and Kenya.
John Penland
Mr. Penland has been working in the architectural field for ten years. Currently working for Joel E. Aycock, P.C.
that specializes in churches. He received Jesus Christ in his senior year of high school and has been involved in
various mission work since. An active member of Church and serves in the singles ministry. He took first trip to Kenya
with Living Hope Ministries International in 2002 with Bob Carter.
Jon Hester
Mr. Hester currently works in the IT industry and owns an independent technology consulting company. He surrendered
to the Lord in 1996 and serves as a deacon, leads the Sermon Duplication Ministry, and works with the youth at Wildwood
Baptist Church in Acworth, Georgia. He was on the team to Kenya in 2006 where shortly after, answered God's call to
serve with Living Hope full time.
