We prepared two cakes for the kids to celebrate the first anniversary.
Each of the cakes had the shape of a heart which showed love.
Inscribed in one of the cakes was the reference James 1: 27, THC, First anniversary, 15th Feb. 2008.
The other had the writings from Psalms 119: 147 which reads
“I ROSE BEFORE THE DOWNING OF THE MORNING, AND CRIED: I HOPED IN YOUR WORD.”
After the speeches two of the children from the centre, Linnet and Beatrice joined the Guest of Honor in cutting the cake.
Does it also mean that life at the centre is also as sweet?
One off the cakes was distributed to all those who attended while the other was kept specifically for the kids.
